Waterfront remedial & refurbishment project

Project overview

Located in Narrabeen on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Fluid undertook a comprehensive remedial works program on the Marquesas building.

Fluid was engaged to deliver full remediation of all 64 balconies, including a new sheet waterproofing system, doors and face fixed fameless glass balustrade system.

The scope included the removal and replacement of all façade windows (424 windows), treatment of over 12,000 litres of concrete spalling, and complete repainting of the building’s façade significantly enhancing durability, visual appeal and long-term coastal performance.

Fluid completed a two-year facade refurbishment at Ocean Street, Narrabeen, addressing significant concrete cancer and waterproofing failures.

Working with NBCE, we delivered a durable, compliant solution designed for a 20–30 year lifespan, completing the project within the budgeted timeframe.
