Project Manager (Clerk of Works)

With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Craig Patterson is a cornerstone of the Fluid Building team. As our Senior Project Manager, Craig brings unparalleled expertise in overseeing large-scale building and renovation projects. At Fluid Building, Craig manages our construction arm with a focus on efficiency, quality and safety, ensuring all projects meet our rigorous standards. His leadership is marked by a blend of patience, humour and thorough professionalism, making him a valued leader and mentor within our company.

Project Manager (Clerk of Works)

Pat McCarthy has been a cornerstone of the Fluid team since the company’s inception. Originally from Ireland, Pat moved to Australia after obtaining a certificate in Mechanical Engineering and accumulating 6.5 years of experience in commercial construction in the UK, focusing on groundwork, formwork and concreting. With more than 28 years of experience in Australian construction and remedial refurbishment, Pat has an extensive track record of successfully managing large-scale projects independently, as well as leading a team of foremen. His hands-on experience is complemented by formal qualifications, having earned a Certificate III in Carpentry & Joinery at Sydney TAFE, followed by a Certificate IV in Construction (Residential).

Foreman

With 17 years of experience at Fluid, Leon is a seasoned professional renowned for his expertise in the meticulous renovation of high-quality residences. Leon actively engages in client consultations, effectively discerning their preferences and requirements. He exhibits a remarkable aptitude for tackling arduous tasks and finding solutions to intricate challenges, all while retaining his amiable demeanor. Leon’s combination of skill and approachability makes him a valuable asset throughout any project.

Foreman

Marcel is a dedicated foreman at Fluid Building Services, boasting an extensive 16-year history with the company. Starting his career as a labourer, Marcel’s seamless transition into the foreman role is a testament to his innate skills and hard work. Marcel excels in overseeing substantial projects and adeptly collaborating with clients, ensuring consistent excellence and the triumphant conclusion of each project. His significant contributions and achievements make him a valued member of the Fluid team.

Estimator

Alex is a junior estimator at Fluid Building Services, where he plays a crucial role in determining project costs. He is currently pursuing a construction management degree with a focus on project management at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Alex brings hands-on field experience to his role, blending academic knowledge with practical skills to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of project estimates. His background ensures that he can provide well-rounded insights into project planning and cost estimation. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Alex enjoys sailing skiffs and is an active member of the Manly 16ft Skiff Club.

Estimator and Project Manager

Scott is a key member of our Fluid estimating and project management team. With over two decades of experience in the remedial and construction industry, Scott has honed his skills and knowledge through various roles, including on-site trade, Foreman, and Project Management positions. Previously, Scott was a Partner in a Bathroom Renovation company, which enriched his expertise in waterproofing and tiling, complementing his extensive background in Remedial Construction. His meticulous attention to detail is evident both on-site and during the quotation and tendering process, making him an invaluable asset to our team. Dedicated and efficient, Scott is known for his approachability and strong rapport with co-workers and clients alike.
