13 Victoria Parade, Manly

A careful restoration of one of Manly’s most recognisable heritage buildings.

Project overview

Located in the heart of Manly, this project involved the sensitive restoration of a landmark red brick building, bringing it back to its former character while enhancing its street presence. Fluid was entrusted to carefully renew the building’s fabric, respecting its history while delivering a refreshed, enduring finish.

  • Project Type: Heritage Remedial & Commercial Works

  • Scope: Brickwork restoration, façade renewal, shopfront upgrades

  • Setting: High-profile corner site at Victoria Parade & Darley Road

  • Approach: Careful craftsmanship with minimal disruption

Restoring character, not just a building

Fluid was asked to bring one of Manly’s oldest and most beautiful buildings back to life. The project included extensive brick repointing, repainting of ornate timber windows and eaves and a full façade refresh that honoured the building’s original charm.

The transformation was completed with the re-tiling of shopfronts using black subway tiles and black granite entry features. Sitting prominently at a busy roundabout, the building now stands with renewed confidence, presence and respect for its history.
