Federation home reimagined with a new front entry

Project overview

This federation-style residence is currently undergoing significant works to transform the way the home is accessed and experienced. Fluid was engaged to relocate the main entry from the side of the house to the front, creating a more traditional and welcoming arrival that suits the home’s character.

The works involve complex structural changes, all carefully managed while the owners continue living on site throughout the renovation.

  • Special Features: New front entry, excavation under existing house, steel pier support

Our team in action

Rather than a simple alteration, relocating the entry required major excavation beneath the house to remove dirt and sandstone. Steel piers were installed to support the structure, allowing the team to safely carry out the work while maintaining the integrity of the home.

With the residents living through the process, careful planning, clear communication, and precise execution have been essential at every stage. The project showcases Fluid’s ability to manage technically demanding renovations with confidence and care.
