Project overview

Located within the Jacksons Landing waterfront redevelopment, 66 Bowman Street is a high-profile remedial and refurbishment project delivered over two years.

Spanning more than 4,000m², the works included the removal and renewal of metal and façade coatings, the replacement of over 600 metres of custom balustrading, and the design of a dedicated height access system to support long-term building maintenance, all carried out within a live environment with a strong focus on continuity and quality.

The story behind the build

Delivering works within a live waterfront environment required careful planning, clear communication, and respect for the existing building and its occupants. From managing access constraints to working around retained finishes, every stage of the project demanded a considered and flexible approach.

By delivering the majority of the works with an in-house team, Fluid maintained continuity across the project and ensured decisions were made with long-term outcomes in mind. Collaboration with the Owner’s Corporation and attention to detail at every stage helped shape a result that met both functional requirements and the original vision for the site.
