Everview Avenue, Mosman
Multi-dwelling renovation and construction project
Project overview
Set in the heart of Mosman with sweeping views across Middle Harbour, this circa 1950s home was carefully transformed into a contemporary multi-dwelling residence.
The project balanced modern living requirements with respect for the home’s original character, delivering spaces that feel open, warm and thoughtfully designed.
Era: Circa 1950s
Key Works: Structural upgrades, excavation, second-storey addition
Complex structural works - upgrades delivered with precision, safety and long-term performance in mind
Thoughtful design evolution - Careful excavation was carried out on a tight site while protecting surrounding structures and façades.
Proven waterproofing expertise - solutions are applied to prevent moisture issues below and above ground.
A thoughtful transformation
Fluid was engaged to reimagine the property while maintaining its existing street presence and working within a tight, complex site. Extensive rock excavation and structural works were required, including new floors, a second storey addition with concrete decks, and modern pergolas designed to maximise harbour views.
Working beneath the existing buildings allowed additional space to be unlocked, while careful waterproofing and remedial strategies addressed potential below-ground moisture challenges. Internally, the homes were finished with new hardwood floors, under-floor heating across five bathrooms, and sleek contemporary kitchens. Landscaping, including a craned-in pool, completed the transformation.
Throughout the process, Fluid worked closely with the owners to ensure the final result felt modern, yet welcoming homes designed for family living, connection, and longevity.
