Building safe spaces that support young lives
Project overview
This project saw Fluid partner with Taldumunde, a not-for-profit organisation supporting vulnerable and homeless young people across Northern Sydney and the Northern Beaches.
The goal was simple but meaningful: transform underused spaces into safe, functional accommodations that could genuinely change lives.

The story behind the build
Taldumunde supports young people aged 12–21 who are experiencing homelessness or vulnerability. When they approached Fluid for help, we were proud to contribute our skills to a project with real social impact.
The scope involved converting an existing garage and outhouse into two fully self contained residential units, complete with shared kitchen, laundry, and bathroom facilities. These new spaces were designed to feel safe, dignified, and welcoming places where young people could begin rebuilding stability in their lives.
This project was delivered with the generous support of trusted industry partners, reflecting the strength of collaboration when a community comes together for a shared purpose.
