Project overview

Working under a cost-plus contract, Fluid has been engaged to deliver extensive internal and external remediation works to the Fairlight property.

In close collaboration with MHDP Architects and the clients, Fluid has successfully navigated the complexities of an early 2000s build while tailoring the interiors of Units 1 and 2 to meet each client’s individual needs and design preferences.

Building on the internal renovations, Fluid has also completed external remediation works including a new roof membrane system, exterior courtyard waterproofing and tile works, and façade upgrades, modernising the early 2000s building.

The story behind the build

At 84 Lauderdale, Fluid transformed a 1980s coastal property from a single-unit renovation into a full-building revitalisation.

Works included structural reconfiguration, new balconies, aluminium facade cladding and extensive waterproofing to create more open living spaces while protecting the building for the long term.

Working closely with the client, we delivered a modern, resilient coastal home on time and within budget.
